NBC orders more Trauma

Looks like NBC hasn’t given up on Trauma, which is good for the Trauma fans who were hearing cancellation rumors.
On Thursday, NBC ordered three more episodes of Trauma, according to E! Online.
The only problem is it may be awhile before the three remaining episodes set to air after Christmas plus the three additional episodes just ordered will air. That’s because NBC’s winter lineup is already full with Chuck, Heroes and Leno, E! said.
On Monday, Nov. 23, Trauma’s Thanksgiving episode “Going Home” will air at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Trauma to premiere tonight on NBC

NBC’s new fast-paced medical drama Trauma will make its debut tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
What sets this medical drama apart from others is that it shows first responder paramedics on the scene when the emergencies happen, instead of in the hospital. These are the people who have to make the life and death decisions when a person’s life is on the line.
When an accident occurs, the trauma team from San Francisco City Hospital gets there whether they have to trael by land, sea or air to get to their victims. Starring in Trauma are Cliff Curtis (Push) …read more

Due to an illness of one of its stars, NBC’s new fall drama Parenthood, has been moved to midseason instead of a fall launch, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Sneak peek at NBC’s new fall shows

Here are previews to four of the shows NBC has just added to its fall lineup – dramas Trauma, Mercy and Parenthood and comedy Community.
I think my favorites from the previews are Mercy and Trauma. Overall, I think they look like pretty interesting shows – nothing too goofy or over the top. Plus, there’s lots of good talent in these shows. Keep watching for more posts about these new shows.
