FOX orders pilot with Wilmer Valderrama
According to Reuters, FOX has ordered a one-hour comedy pilot featuring That 70’s Show actor Wilmer Valderrama.
Produced by 20th Century Fox TV and written by Emily Kapnek, the project titled The Emancipation of Ernesto will follow Valederrama’s character as he searches Los Angeles for his father. His character is described as an innocent, a cross between Steve Martin’s "The Jerk" and Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump.
"That ’70s Show" ran for eight seasons on FOX until 2006.
