Million Dollar Password to debut June 1
At first glance, the set of Million Dollar Password looks an awful lot like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Especially with Regis Philbin at the helm.
But this time Regis is back on a different network and with a different million-dollar prize.
Million Dollar Password will premiere on prime time Sunday, June 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, updating the classic program to the 21st Century with everything “big” — celebrities, money and stakes.
Contestants will team up with stars including Rosie O’Donnell, Betty White, Rachael Ray and even High School Musical’s Monique Coleman to earn up to one million dollars.
One player from the team will be given secret passwords but can only use one-word clues to get the teammate to guess them. If the player and celebrity work together, that player could uncover the Million Dollar Password.
