News from CBS shows Gary Unmarried, Harper Island and The Ex List
Looks like there’s at least one more change coming to Jay Mohr’s new CBS sitcom Gary Unmarried (originally called Project Gary).
According to TV Squad, Ed Begley, Jr. has been cast as the therapist who treated Mohr and his ex-wife, played by Paula Marshall. In the pilot, the role of the therapist was played by comic Larry Miller. Personally, I’m a Larry Miller fan, so I hate to see him go, but I’m sure Begley will do.
In other TV news, Buddy TV is reporting Supernatural actress Katie Cassidy is moving to new TV show Harper Island, set to debut on CBS in early 2009. Harper Island is described as a murder mystery that unfolds as friends and family attend week-long festivities at a destination wedding location.
Also on Buddy TV, is a little info on CBS’s new fall TV show The Ex List featuring Elizabeth Reaser (Grey’s Anatomy) as Bella Bloom, a woman who learns from a psychic that she only has one year to find her husband or risk being single forever. Except she’s already dated her future husband and now must find him.
The Ex List will premiere on Oct. 3 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
