Over-the-top sibling moments on SOAPnet’s new series Relative Madness
SOAPnet’s new series Relative Madness will take a look at celebrity and TV siblings on its second e
pisode “It’s a Sibling Thing” at 11 p.m. ET/PT Thursday.
Relative Madness is an original series of six one-hour specials that blends real-life celebrities and icons, as well as fictional primetime and daytime characters, in its count down of the 25 most over-the-top TV and celebrity family moments in each episode, with commentary from a variety of talent and comedians.
Some highlights of the most over-the-top brothers and sisters featured in the ‘It’s a Siblilng thing” countdown include the competing careers of Jessica and Ashlee Simpson and Vinnie Chase and Johnny Drama, the Hiltons’ legal woes, the antics of Lindsay and Ali Lohan, Jane and Sydney’s infamous catfight in the pool on “Melrose Place,” Princes William and Harry’s social lives and the Olsen twins’ bank account. The show also will highlight “90210’s” Brandon and Brenda Walsh, “General Hospital’s” Lucky Spencer, Lulu Spencer and Nikolas Cassadine, and “The Young and the Restless’” Kevin Fisher and Michael Baldwin.
Commentators weighing in on the sibling revelry are comedians Joy Behar (“The View”), Chuck Nice (“Best Week Ever”) and Kathleen Madigan (“Last Comic Standing”), Paige Hemmis (“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”), actor Willie Garson (“Sex and the City”), actress Joy Lauren (“Desperate Housewives”), Lisa Gastineau (“Gastineau Girls”), actress Sonya Eddy (“General Hospital”) and actress Ana Ortiz (“Ugly Betty”).
The first episode on May 8 was all about “Mama Drama” and featured Dina Lohan and Britney Spears, “I Love New York’s” New York, “All My Children’s” Erica Kane and “Days of our Lives’” Sami Brady.
Future Relative Madness episodes will take a look at “Brawl in the Family,” “Crazy… in Love,” “Twisted Family Trees” and “Father Knows Less.”

June 5: “Twisted Family Trees” – Counting down the most-over-the-top TV and celebrity family ties, highlighting the Karadashian-Jenners, Hugh-Hefner and “The Girls Next Door,” “Nip Tuck’s” the McNamaras and Troys, “The Young and the Restless’” the Newmans and “Days of our Lives’” the DiMeras.

June 12: “Father Knows Less” – Counting down the most over-the-top TV and celebrity dads, including Kevin Federline, Alec Baldwin, “The Sopranos’” Tony Soprano, “One Life to Live’s” Todd Manning and “General Hospital’s” Dr. Noah Drake.
