Vampire Diaries just keeps getting better and better. With each episode, more secrets are revealed.
And now it appears they are going to make Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and several vampires very happy by finally opening the tomb in the episode airing next Thursday called “Fool Me Once.” As executive producers Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson say they don’t play around – the tomb gets opened and a lot of “big bad stuff happens.”
Here’s the official episode description: Stefan (Paul Wesley) helps Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Bonnie (Katerina Graham) out of a dangerous situation. Jeremy (Steve R. McQueen) asks Anna (guest star …read more

The Vampire Diaries: “Children of the Damned” spoilers

I just caught up on last week’s episode of The Vampire Diaries, so I’m pretty excited about watching the new episode “Children of the Damned” airing Thursday, Feb. 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
This will be another flashback episode, with the story going back to 1864 where we get to find out what Stefan did that was so horrible to Damon, that Damon has hated him for an eternity. The executive producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec explain more about the episode above:
Don’t you love how the producers say that Katherine is such a “bitch,” which makes her …read more

The O.C.’s Melinda Clarke coming to The Vampire Diaries

The O.C.’s Julie Cooper (Melinda Clarke) is coming to The Vampire Diaries!
I’m a big O.C. fan, so this is pretty cool. In case you don’t remember, Julie Cooper was Marissa Cooper’s (Mischa Barton) mom.
Sources confirm to Entertainment Weekly that Clarke will be playing Kelly Donovan, “Matt’s (Zach Roerig) irresponsible, hard-drinking absentee mother.”
In fact the woman she plays is so bad she didn’t even show up for her daughter Vicki (Kayla Ewell) funeral.
Clarke, who also guest starred on CSI, will arrive in Mystic Falls in March and will be in at least three episodes. Here’s hoping she will stick around …read more

The Vampire Diaries named Favorite New TV Drama!

The CW is pretty happy right now. New show The Vampire Diaries won a People’s Choice Awards for Favorite New TV Drama.

The show was up against tough competition with higher ratings including The Good Wife, NCIS: Los Angeles, V and FlashForward.
In addition, CW series Supernatural beat out Heroes, True Blood, Lost and The Vampire Diaries to win Favorite Sci Fi/Fantasy Show! That’s pretty cool and shows that even little CW shows can create quite a following!
I’ve watched every episode of The Vampire Diaries so far and at home it’s a must-see …read more

The Vampire Diaries: A new chapter begins

Is everyone excited that The Vampire Diaries will start back up with new episodes on Jan. 21?
In the last episode before the Christmas break, Elena (Nina Dobrev) was in a wreck. That was right after she took the necklace off that Stefan (Paul Wesley) gave her to wear. Without the necklace, can Damon (Ian Somerhalder) charm her?
The new teacher also is intriguing. It will be interesting to see how Stefan is going to deal with Damon if he is trying to win over Elena.

Vampire Diaries stars attend London benefit

The Vampire Diaries stars Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley made an appearance together at the benefit gala for the Elton John Foundation, sponsored by Grey Goose, on Mnday in London, England.
Dobrev plays Elena on The Vampire Diaries, while Wesley plays “good” vampire Stefan and Somerhalder plays Stefan’s “bad” vampire brother Damon.

While Damon is evil, he’s so easy on the eyes I would definitely be “glamoured” by him, but Stefan is so sweet and caring. Which vampire dude would you like if you were Elena?
By the way, The CW is in the middle of its Vampire Diaries Marathon this …read more
